
Anti-depressants are the type of medication used on an individual who is undergoing depression. If taken by any patient under depression, there should be a lot of attention administered on such to them since, during the early stages of therapy, the patient is bound to develop some suicidal and a worsening situation of depression. It is all upon the family, clinicians to monitor the patients for such symptoms. During the early stages of therapy, the patient may develop anxiety, panic attacks, hostility, insomnia, impulsivity and other related side effects. This does not mean that anti-depressants are safe but under proper monitoring, the individual may be safe.
