
Health supplements are often referred to as nutritional or dietary supplements. In most locations they are available as legal non prescription drugs. As a result they can sometime trigger risky health supplements side effects.
In most cases health supplements are considered safe but when used in wrong ways at extensively high doses they can cause unwanted side effects. For instance, consuming cardiovascular supplements with aspirin enhances their effects to dangerous levels. The same is true with some vitamin supplements that can damage liver, kidney and bones when consumed at high doses. Others interact with food causing nausea, headaches and diarrhea.
