
Lung cancer tends to spread very early and only a small percentage can be detected at an early stage. However, one can seek medical attention if any of the following symptoms appear.
A new persistent cough or worsening of an existing chronic cough, blood in the sputum shortness of breath and persistent hoarseness can be one of the symptoms. In addition, there is normally the swelling of the neck and face, chest pain, fatigue and loss of appetite. One may experience significant weight loss due to dieting or vigorous exercise, unexplained fever and difficulties in swallowing.
It is highly advisable to seek medical attention as soon as the above symptoms are detected.
